“The Eagle” is modern even if it is integrated with the historical surroundings, so that, after the reconversion, through the creation of urban gardens, it can become a people-friendly area within one of the largest metropolis in the world. Its shape is designed for having a correct sun exposure of the interiors, and for facilitating the development of a suitable microclimate for plants growth.

“The Eagle” is born as a stadium, like a modern structure for sport building, easily convertible later into a green urban area surrounded by residences, shops, hotels and offices. At the end of the World Cup, through the easy removal of the tribunes in tubular steel, there will be room left for a terraced flat complex, embellished with meadows and trees. The sports facility will have a capacity of 32,000 seats, spread over 3 rings and 4 sectors. Inside there are a hotel, a convention center and a fitness center that will remain operative after the residential conversion.
